Swedish Mora Knife
Most of the knife-work you do in the wilderness is of a fine
nature - carving firemaking tools,
traps, bows, or camp utensils, hence a good carving knife is what you will use the majority of
the time. An ax will take care of the heavy-duty jobs. We have found the Swedish Mora knife to
be a blade that holds an edge like no other. These blades are high-carbon steel (good for Flint
& Steel firemaking), have a comfy rubber handle, and come with their own sheath.
Cost: $20.00 per
blade plus $3.50 s/h

Potable Aqua Iodine Water Purification Tablets |
|
|
|
When drinking water is of
questionable quality, use Potable Aqua Germicidal
Tablets to make most water bacteriologically
suitable for drinking. This is the treatment method
we use on our survival courses. One bottle contains
50 tablets and will purify 25 to 50 quarts of water,
depending on source of water. |
