Week 8
Independent Projects 

With almost two solid months of survival training under your belt, the 8th week will allow you to focus on a more advanced skill related to a specific topic of your interest.
 
Some of the project topics available include: 

Agave or Shindagger is used for weaving, rope, sandals, and food.

~ Atlatls, throwing sticks, and primitive hunting tools 
~ Basketry and weaving 
~ Flintknapping 
~ Advanced firemaking technologies
~ A project of your own design 
Regardless of which topic you choose, you will be able to witness a variety of projects unfolding throughout the week. While students spend this week beginning and focusing on their selected skill, they may continue working on their project throughout the duration of the semester.
