Week 4
Field Trip to Hopi Mesas
and Southern Utah

During week four we travel northeast through Monument Valley making our way to the stunning canyon country of southern Utah along the San Juan River. Along the way we will explore seldom seen prehistoric Anasazi ruins and spend time with Archeologists learning about the Four Corners region.
We will spend several days on the way back through Arizona with Hopi elders at their traditional homelands and mesas learning about Hopi culture and native language in a way that few outsiders ever witness.
