Fundamentals of Tracking

This is an introductory class that will cover both animal and mantracking skills. You will learn the basics of track identification, aging prints, interpreting the stories in tracks, gait patterns, how to follow a person over varied terrain and how to pick up a lost trail. This class is entirely hands-on and is held in the backcountry near Flagstaff.

Runs from 9 am to 4 pm.

Participants need to bring a sack lunch, water, sunglasses, and notebook.
