Course Information/Policies
Ever wonder what to
do if you were lost in the wilds and had to spend the night out
with little or no gear? If so, then join us for this hands-on
course that will cover the skills and mindset for prevailing in
a wilderness survival situation. Topics covered: Survival
psychology, shelters, emergency firemaking skills, signal mirror
practice, how to dress for the outdoors, water location and
purification methods, survival kits, and how to equip your
vehicle for backcountry travel.
Class runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Participants need to provide their own sack-lunch and water.
