Herbal Medicine and Traditional Plant Uses

This special class is taught by guest instructor and herbalist Mike Masek. The course will cover the most common medicinal plants of North America, how to make tinctures, teas, and salves. Each student will walk away with their own batch of tinctures and salves for common ailments. Mike has been a student and practitioner of herbal medicine for two decades. In addition to receiving formal education in Western Herbalism, he trained in the Ayurvedic (India) and Chinese traditions while living in Asia. His specialty is blending the knowledge of East and West while teaching the safe and effective uses of plants. Held in Flagstaff (non-overnight class) so you will need to provide your own accommodations or camp out. Saturday dinner is provided.
 
This is given as a 2 Day Course.
